POETRY
The dream world is truly full of wonder and feelings. Exploring these ideas within our own waking experience can provide insight of you should proceed with hard decisions in your life. It’s just as good as advice as any, and good practice in trusting yourself.
In the Vein of a Den
You leave me intoxicated with emotion
Dreaming of vibrant things,
On the precipice of life and death
Where volcanic glass and oceanic tides sing
A wreath of yellow flowers
A street of yellow trees
Aloe Vera shiny gooey
Glows soothing
Taken too soon.
A deeper connection than human vernacular
Existential exodus where our souls may combine
Bask in the shadows of light unseen by the eye
The darkness in the darkness where we can hide.
“I extended life with extraordinary externals.
In the vein of a den, you can come in.”
We mold the clay into a vessel,
but it’s its emptiness that makes it useful
I’m the friend of hallowed hollow,
we have conversations in solitude
But to speak out of monk-hood
I desire more than words.
The world wants a bloom
To sing a magical tune
And cast a spell
Tongues move
But utter not.
Complete stop
A timeless moment
Not forever
Feels forever
Frozen solid clocks.
Wake from that dream
Break through that slumber
Drink all the tea
Travel through your wonders
Wander willingly lost.
In Pompeii
Some day
Ashen sculptures
Holding each other
Like stones forever
Not forever,
But close
Taste eternity.
Bound to be broken free
Broken to be made wholey.
Drenched in the essence
Of our physical’s presence
The Moon is beautiful tonight
And so are you.
To share a moment,
Or is it a dream?
