POETRY

In Fluency

I feel like an animal,
fluent in wordless
no caster of spelling
maker of magick
and dreamer compelling
simultaneous in sleep and
in wake, foreign to my form
representing all mine kind.
Deepest of illusions
have broken me knot,
tied around those who
ticks to the tock
Will you take my form
See as a see, break
from your glasses
half full/empty.
A Tail with a face.
Fangs with eight legs
Giving it’s form to spy
Feet as many as eyes
Shadow lurking peeking seeking
thinking comtemplation
so these words control
The simple mided soul.
Use there verbs
To convince herds
Heard the noun
And adjective compliance
Key sea words
On raft trees
That turn keys
Like science.
The action rests on those
You bode
But does actions
Guilt rest
In your own?
To take a spider
are you more than
your hard skin?
With whom you fear
To take a life
Be it your Kin.
Nature holds dear
shape shifter shapes shift
No one knows here
A break master word Smith
dis(place) guilty dis(taste)
Re(trace) smelty dis(grace)
Gears of destraction
Grind intentionally
Fingernails scratch dinner
I guess. Keep guessing
Some animals speak
A second
Familiar
Language
